Mario Balotelli has enjoyed a fruitful start to his French adventure with Nice.

But the striker had a night to forget on Friday as he saw his penalty saved in his side’s 2-0 win against Lyon.

Balotelli was clearly furious with his miss as the thought of losing his title as Europe’s most lethal penalty taker came into focus.

If that wasn’t enough, Lyon goalkeeper Anthony Lopes revelled in the striker’s misery as he mocked the Italian’s efforts.
